Happiness

I had started another post that was a blatant vent.  I went to youtube to find a specific video and accidentally…. well, actually i don’t believe in accidents…  for whatever wonderful reason, I stumbled upon a series of clips from You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown  that sucked me through a time portal, back to the summer of 1981 at Hummingbird Music Camp when my children’s choir put on this show for our parents at the end of our two week session.  I was  cast as Lucy.  I was also the mean orphan the next summer when we did Annie.  Hmmmmm….  type casting my childhood angst much?    Anyway, good times. N-man climbed on to the couch,curled up, and rested his head in my lap and together we watched this over and over and over.  I am officially pathetic enough that it reduced me to happy childhood memory tears.   Happiness is, twenty-seven years later, reliving the simplicity and joy of childhood through his eyes.
